THE JOYFUL APOSTOLATE This is our quarterly newsletter to keep you updated on our Community, the Society Devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and how God is working in and through us throughout the world.Women's Retreat An opportunity for women to draw near to our Lord Jesus through Eucharist, quiet prayer, faith sharing and reconciliationWork Weekend Held every Labor Day and Memorial Day Weekend, you can help to transform our Camp from Summer to Winter or vice versa and be a part of an important service project in maintaining the property and facility where young people are drawn to the Heart of Jesus.Sacred Heart Girls' Camp A wonderful Catholic experience for girls 8-15 years old including hiking, crafts, fun, friends, sacraments, and so much more!Sacred Heart Girls Camp Counselors in Training Our Counselor In Training Program provides leadership training for young women, ages 16-17 which includes preparation for Liturgy, puppet shows, field day and entertainment night.Sacred Heart Girls' Camp Counselor Counselors are young women 18 years of age and older who assist at our Girls' Camp in many different activities and are a vital part of our camps.The Sacred Heart Summer Volunteer Program provides an opportunity for young women to enter into the spirit of our Community's prayer life and joyful apostolate by joining the dynamic summer works of the Sacred Heart Sisters.Sacred Heart Family Camp is for 2 parent families and their children seeking to strengthen the love of Jesus in their marriage and family.Sacred Heart Family Camp Staff are a vital part of making our summer camps run smoothly. Dedicated young adults are welcome to share their faith and their strength throughout this family centered weekend.Sacred Heart Leadership Retreat A retreat for young women in their junior year of high school and older who want to strengthen their personal relationship with God and to respond to Christ's call to leadership in the Church and the world.Could you have a vocation to be a Sacred Heart Sister? Come and See.Winter Staff are dedicated young adults who help on our winter retreats throughout the school year when available. They witness to their own faith as together we draw youth to the Heart of Jesus.
